The following report presents the results of analysing the Parkinson’s Speech Dataset. This analysis was undertaken as part of my Introduction to Data Mining module assessment. It the study data analysis techniques such as basic descriptive statistical test, decision tree classification, logistic regression, dimensionality reduction (using Principle Component Analysis) and correspondence analysis were all used. The study concludes some very interesting facts about the data set and demonstrates the usefulness of these data analysis techniques and data mining as a whole.
